Delivering IT as a Service

Quick Facts

Dimensions/Capacity

  • Campus area – 39,500 sq m (9.75 acres)
  • Data Center building area – 87,000 sq ft
  • Raised floor area – 60,000 sq ft
  • Service yard – 65,000 sq ft
  • Disaster recovery hot seat facility area – 43,000 sq ft
  • Number of bays in Data Center – 4
  • Bay capacity (number of racks in each bay) – 360

Concurrently Maintainable Electrical & Mechanical Infrastructure

  • For each bay:
  • Fully redundant architecture and no single point of failure. This includes multiple active power and cooling distribution paths
  • Powered by an N+1 redundant system; all the power and cooling systems including utility transformers, diesel generators, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), chillers, precision air handling units (PAHUs), power distribution panels, and rack power distribution units (PDUs) are built with a minimum of N+1 redundancy
  • Power distribution to rack – 2 x 32A single phase IEC309 industrial sockets for redundant input A & B as standard. 16A, 32A, 63A single/three phase can be provisioned to meet customers’ requirements

Energy Efficient Cold Aisle Containment Design

  • 600 x 1000 x 2200 mm 47U standard racks
  • Can accommodate varying size racks
  • Grid tiles for pressurised cold air inlet
  • Front to rear air flow, with hot air exit at rear after cooling the equipment
  • Thermal imaging for hot spot monitoring and detection

Integrated Security and Fire Alarm System

  • Perimeter security - manned security gates with anti-crash bollard
  • Campus wall with barbed wire, beam detectors for intrusion detection, and perimeter surveillance cameras
  • CCTV monitoring and recording in the network operations center of all doors and critical areas
  • Access controls systems with proximity and biometric readers, manned security entrance and reception, man-trap for hosting area
  • Cage security – locks and access controls systems as per customer requirements
  • VESDA (Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus) fire alarm system
  • Addressable fire alarm system
  • FM200 fire suppression system
  • Rodent control systems
  • Water leakage detection system
  • Fire alarm buttons for manual operation, in addition to smoke and heat sensitive triggers installed at multiple locations in the building. A fire damper system is in place so that, in the unlikely event of a fire, the effects will be limited to the smallest area possible.
