Pacific Controls showcase ‘Smart Solution’ at 5th Annual Fire Safety Technology Forum

The 5th Annual Fire Safety Technology Forum, organized by the Ministry of Interior (MoI) and represented by the General Directorate of Civil Defence is held on 1st of March every year on the occasion of the celebrations for the World Civil Defence Day. The forum focuses on the use of advanced technology in the provision of Smart Civil Defence services in the field of awareness, prevention and protection. Pacific Controls exhibited the 24x7 Direct Alarm System for Homes during the event. Using state-of-the-art machine-to machine (M2M) technology, and a world-leading 24x7 DCD Command Control Center on a cloud computing platform, this wireless system replaces the outdated terrestrial line-based system to deliver faster response times and higher efficiency. The system allows residents to report an emergency alarm to Civil Defence with the click of a button, providing the best possible chance of an emergency being dealt with.
