M2M Forum Middle East 2013

Etisalat, one of the largest telecom operator in Middle East and Africa, introduced the first large scale discussion platform on Machine-to-Machine (M2M) technology to the UAE by hosting the M2M Middle East Forum 2013 in Dubai on September 22 to September 23.

Pacific Controls, who is the market leader in using M2M based solution for sustainability, and Etisalat showcased their joint initiative, Emirates Energy Star (www.ees.ae) in the discussion forum. The program is aimed at reducing the carbon footprint of UAE and has achieved phenomenal results till date. The program received accolades from participants of the discussion forum for the initiative taken by Etisalat and Pacific Controls in fighting climate change in UAE with M2M based technology.
