Dubai Civil Defence Safety awareness campaign tent at Al Warqa

Dubai Civil Defence (DCD) is demonstrating 24x7 Direct Alarm System for homes (DAS) at DCD safety awareness campaign tent at Al Warqa.

According to Major General Rashid Thani Al Matrooshi "this is the first time such camps are organized in the country to spread awareness on how to prevent accidents in different sectors of societies particularly the families."

Visitors from government, public, and private entities and from various schools are visiting here to learn more about the safety. The tents are open daily from 9.30 AM to 1 PM for schools and 4.30 PM to 10 PM for families until the end of March 2014. The program is interspersed with entertainment and education.

The general focus of this campaign is on "The Safety of family in homes"- looking at safety condition at home, it's potential risks and how to prevent them, procedure for dealing with incidents when they occur in the home & the importance of having 24x7 DAS for reporting any emergency incident from home.
