Dubai Civil Defence introduces 24x7 Direct Alarm System for Homes, Mobility solution and Dispatch solution in Intersec 2014

The major focus for this year Intersec - the leading Trade Fair for Safety & Security in the Middle East was Dubai’s winning of the Expo 2020 bid and all stakeholders showcase the products and service that may add to the success of the mega exhibition. Dubai Civil Defence exhibited the 24x7 Direct Alarm System for Homes, Mobility solution and Dispatch solution during the event. These unique solutions are co-developed by Pacific Controls.

The Direct Alarm System for Homes connects the residents to the 24x7 Command Control Center enabling the building occupants to alert Dubai Civil Defence in the event of a fire or any life and safety incident at their premises. This gives the best possible opportunity to deal with any emergency, before it has chance to take hold and cause substantial loss. This innovative system allows the citizens to report an emergency alarm to Dubai Civil Defence at the click of a button.

The Dubai Civil Defence unique Mobility solution will help the residents to report an emergency life safety situation in their premises in the easiest possible way to Civil Defence. The Life Safety App connects the residents to the state-of-the-art Dubai Civil Defence 24x7 Command Control Center, thus enabling them to alert Dubai Civil Defence in the event of a fire or any life and safety incident at their premises with the click of a button.

Dubai Civil Defence Dispatch solution ensures rapid deployment in the field with real time status, integrated mappings, best routing, full access to data and property information. This highly reliable, innovative solution enables rapid decision making in situations when every second counts.

During a press conference for the launch of Intersec 2014, Lt Col Jamal Ahmad Ebrahim, Director of Preventive Safety Department, Dubai Civil Defence said,"The project is part of Dubai government’s efforts to make the city the safest in the world. We have realized that currently fire safety in villas is not at the highest level. So we are planning to overhaul the safety system.
